1. Scope and application
a. These Terms apply to all individuals and registered businesses that make use of payment services on our website.
b. By continuing to use these services, you agree to these Terms and to the more detailed Terms and Conditions (“Terms”), outlined on the website of our payment provider.
c. Processing personal sensitive data is subject to the Privacy Policy outlined on the website of our payment provider.
d. The payment provider bears full and exclusive responsibility for the platform it provides, as well as for all processes, functionalities, operations, and mechanisms associated with that platform.
2. Relationships and responsibility
a. In the context of the contractual and operational relationship established through the payment services, ANIMA MEA acts as a “partner” of the payment service provider, while you act as the “payer”, as such terms are defined and used in the payment provider’s Terms and Conditions and related policies. These designations are adopted solely for consistency with the payment provider’s documentation and do not create additional rights or obligations beyond those expressly stated therein.
b. By accessing or using the payment services made available through the third-party payment platform, you expressly declare, acknowledge, and agree that:
- you shall not interfere, directly or indirectly, in any manner whatsoever, with the functionality, security, integrity, or availability of the payment platform
- you shall not submit, transmit, or provide false, misleading, inaccurate, unlawful, or fraudulent information
- you shall not use the payment platform for any unlawful, prohibited, or unauthorized purpose
- you shall not hold ANIMA MEA liable or responsible for any content, data, information, functionality, availability, interruption, or operation of the payment platform, insofar as such matters arise from or relate to your interaction with the third-party payment provider.
c. For comprehensive information regarding your rights, obligations, liabilities, and remedies in your capacity as a “payer”, you are required to consult and comply with the Payer Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) and all associated policies made available on the official website of the payment service provider. Such terms shall apply independently and directly between you and the payment provider.
3. Special Notes
a. Calendar days = any day of the calendar, regardless of whether it is a public holiday or weekend (Saturday, Sunday).
Example: If you received a parcel today and you have a 14-calendar-day return period, and the next 5 days are non-working days (public holidays or weekend), these 5 days are still counted within your return period.
b. Business days = Monday to Friday, except when these days are public holidays.
Example: If you received a return confirmation today and we specify a 3–5 business-day refund period, and the next 5 days are non-working days (public holidays or including a weekend), these 5 days are not counted, as they are not part of the regular working schedule. We cannot guarantee the availability of our services or support during these days.
c. Any changes to these terms will be announced by publishing the date on which the latest modifications were made. This date also becomes the effective date from which the updated terms apply.
d. You have the right to request a previous version of these terms, provided you present a valid and justified reason.
